🎉 Celebrating 30 Years of Peninsula Medical Foundation

On 9 January 2027, Peninsula Medical Foundation celebrates its 30th anniversary.

Since its establishment in 1997, the charity has evolved through five different names before becoming the Peninsula Medical Foundation we know today. Along the way, the dedication, expertise and generosity of countless volunteers have shaped our journey.

Three Decades of Leadership and Stewardship

Together, they have helped ensure that donations are invested responsibly and effectively, supporting research, education and innovation across the Peninsula.

The Impact of 30 Years

  • 💷 £8.1 Million Raised
  • 🔬 £7.9 Million Invested
  • 🎯 20 Research Grants Awarded Since 2022

Since 2022, PMF has awarded more than £451,000 through 20 grants, supporting important research into:

  • Brain tumour research
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Microplastics and liver disease

These grants are helping researchers explore new treatments, improve patient outcomes and advance medical knowledge for the benefit of future generations.

Looking Ahead

While we are proud of everything that has been achieved over the last 30 years, our focus remains firmly on the future.

Every donation, fundraising challenge and act of support helps us continue investing in innovative research and supporting the medical community across the Peninsula.

As we begin our fourth decade, we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed to PMF’s story so far. Together, we look forward to building on this legacy and making the next chapter even more impactful.
