Aggressive brain cancers can strip away independence, mobility, communication and the qualities that make us who we are. For too many families, the outlook remains frightening: just 15 in 100 people survive five years after diagnosis.

But hope is growing — right here in the South West.

PMF proudly supports groundbreaking research led from Plymouth, one of the UK’s designated Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence. The discoveries made locally are already improving diagnosis, treatment and outcomes for patients across Cornwall, Devon and beyond.
