Professor Khalil is an eminent Consultant ENT Surgeon at the University Hospitals Plymouth, and a committed Medical Educator. In addition to conducting a busy clinical workload, he has just completed a term as Head of the Peninsula Medical School and is a Non-Executive Director of the Hospital’s Governing Board. His background includes an impressive list of prestigious medical educational appointments in this country and abroad. In his limited spare time he has published several books of poetry and short stories. He has long been an enthusiastic supporter of the PMF and the Board of Trustees is delighted to welcome Professor Khalil to its number.
